Review:

Whittling in the Wild is a great book of exciting and useful whittling inventions. Felix Immler has made a range of projects with his children and is a full-time Swiss Army Knife teacher. Not only does he write books, he also has work shops for adults and kids as well as having YouTube channel with loads of videos of bushcraft and survival, with only a Swiss Army Knife!

In the book, it teaches safety tips and Felix Immler shows you how to make the most of your Swiss Army Knife by using all the tools in ways you wouldn’t expect! Also, it shows that you don’t need many tools and most toys that can be bought can also be made. His instructions are very clear and easy understand and have photos of him doing most of the steps.

I would highly recommend it to anyone who is in to the outdoors and whittling because it is informative and will give you hours of fun.

  1. As always, I highly recommend that pupil’s use of YouTube is supervised! And of course, please get parent’s permission before you start handling knives!

Zak, this is a great review and your enthusiasm shines through. Perhaps you can being in something you’ve made?
