Review:
This is a story about a boy that lived in Afghanistan in a cave. One day a dog came to the cave with a cut on her leg. The boy named Aman helped her with her cut on her leg but his mother and grandmother didn’t know about it. Aman named the dog Shadow and they became friends.
There was a war in Afghanistan and Aman went on a big dangerous journey to England to try to get away from the Taliban. There are some sad parts in the book but good things too.
I really like the book because in the end it was a happy ending and I like happy endings.
