Review:
The Lord of the Rings is the sequel to The Hobbit and although very long it is just as good. It is a quest to destroy the ring that Bilbo found (read The Hobbit). If the quest fails then Middle Earth will be occupied by orcs. Nine companions set out to do this , two men, one elf, one dwarf, a wizard and four hobbits. One of the hobbits called Frodo bears the ring.
There are a few battles in this story and quite a bit of gore but it isn’t too scary.
I would recommend this book for age nine and up bookworms as it is very long.
